CYX Magnetic Liquid-Level Indicator

CYX magnetic level indicator is based on the measuring elements --- magnetic force coupler and magnetic float, and shows the measured value by driving the two-color up-and-down magnetic plates. It utilizes the non-magnetic tube to separate the working medium and the monitor. The two-color flip plates can be clearly seen within 20 meters and need no energy. The indicator is the preferred measuring instrument in the fields such as fossil fuelled power plant, nuclear power plant, petroleum industry and chemical industry, applicable to measuring the liquid level of the containers from vacuum, high-pressure to ultra-pressure at the temperature below 500℃, for example, the indicator can show and measure the liquid level in high- / low- pressure heaters,

Deaerator, condensers, high- / ultra- pressure boiler drum etc. The indicator shall be classified side–type and top-type according to the different mounting position in the container. Because of the different working medium, the indicator is manufactured with the materials of stainless steel and ABS engineering plastics, etc. Those indicators with ABS engineering plastics are used for corrosive medium such as acids and alkali.

Operating Principle

CYX series magnetic liquid-level indicators show the liquid level by utilizing the magnetic float to turn the magnetic two-color flip plates at different position. CYX magnetic liquid-level indicator is equipped with magnetic float in the measuring cylinder. The measuring cylinder is connected with the measured container by the connecting balance pipes. The magnetic float attracts the magnetic flip plates in accordance with measured liquid level. The red side indicates presence of liquid, with the top point indicating the measured liquid level while the non-painted

side indicates no presence of liquid. Many magnetic flip plates are equipped in the liquid-level monitor stand, with each plate fitted an easily rotating horizontal shaft. One side of the plate is coated with red color (Other colors such as green and blue, etc. are optional ) while another side is uncoated with bright stainless steel color. The flip plate is equipped with small magnetic steel blocks which attract each other and make the plates keep coherence and shock-resistance.
